Military Sealift Command Transport
The Spearhead-class expeditionary fast transport (EPF) is a United States Navy–led shipbuilding program to provide "a platform intended to support users in the Department of the Navy and Department of the Army. The Expeditionary Fast Transport (EPF) program is a cooperative effort for a high-speed, shallow draft vessel intended for rapid intratheater transport of medium-sized cargo payloads. The EPF will reach speeds of 35–45 knots (65–83 km/h; 40–52 mph) and will allow for the rapid transit and deployment of conventional or special forces as well as equipment and supplies.
This model is only one of three that have been produced. Each is a special ship with unique attributes designed into the model. The well deck has a set of tanks, humvees, and other support transports to give it a real feel. The ship have 4 brushless jet drives with two working servos for all four thrusters working at the same time. This is a light, nibble ship and skips across the water. She is a pleasure to run this R/C model.
This model can be display or R/C depending on your needs. Ship with display stand included, but the R/C version does not included radio or batteries.
